Mary's Biography
Mary Stahnke has been teaching for eight years. She taught third grade for one year, fourth grade for two years, fifth through eighth grade math for three years, and now is in her second year of teaching fourth and fifth grade for a virtual school. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education from Georgia College and State University in 2004. She is currently finishing her degree in Curriculum Instruction and Technology from the University of Phoenix. She is very excited to use all the information gathered from the past year in her classroom. Technology has always been of great interest to Mary and she is looking forward to sharing her new-found knowledge with her students and colleagues. Mary strives to keep her skills sharp and her desire to be a life-long learner is evident, as she is currently investigating the possiblity of completing her Doctorate degree in the near future. Mary further believes that all of her students need to be using technology in every way possible to continually prepare for 21st classroom education.
